MeRT: Finally, the Personalized Approach People Need.

Our targeted, personalized approach focuses on the science of each person’s distinctive brain state.

How is The Process?

BTC´s protocols utilize brainwave analysis to assess how different areas of the brain are functioning and reveal areas that aren’t communicating the way they should.

We then use this data to develop a personalized and targeted approach aimed at bringing about healthy brain communication.

MeRT Process

A Customized and Targeted Approach to Neuromodulation

The delivery involves a technician placing an electromagnetic coil over targeted areas of the scalp. The coil emits magnetic pulses at specific frequencies that stimulate brain tissue and encourage healthy brain communication.

The MeRTSM approach uses brainwave analysis to construct a picture of how different areas of the brain are functioning and to target treatment based on that analysis through non-invasive neuromodulation.

The 4 Steps of MeRT

1. Evaluation

We conduct a quantitative electroencephalogram (q-EEG) and an electrocardiogram (EKG) – tests that measure brain wave frequencies, heart rate and brain-heart coherence. Our scientific and clinical teams analyze the results to determine your current brain state.

2. Analysis & Protocol

We use a patented approach with the neurophysiological data to develop a customized treatment plan that aims to encourage healthy brain communication.

3. MeRTSM Therapy

You will sit in a comfortable chair. A trained technician positions an electromagnetic coil on your head. The coil produces a magnetic field to induce mild electrical currents in targeted region of the brain.

The technician applies stimulation for 6-8 seconds per minute. A typical appointment is 45 minutes, 30 minutes of which involve stimulation.

4. Progress Evaluation

We take an additional q-EEG and EKG after about a week of treatment to assess progress and make any necessary modifications. This ensures we’re always taking the best approach based on current neurological state.
